ADDITIONAL DRIVERS
Additional drivers must meet the same requirements as the renter.
One additional driver is permitted free of charge.
For two or more additional driver there will be a charge of $10.00 per additional driver.

* Only the customer and the additional driver, whose name and possibly other data are show on the agreement, shall be entitled to drive the motor vehicle. Wherever hereinafter reference is made to the customer, shall also be meant the additional driver. Both the customer and the additional driver are severally liable towards the lessor for an damage and costs arisen to the motor car, one and the other as specified.
AFTER HOURS
AFTER HOURS After hour returns are permitted.
Please make arrangements with the rental agent at time of rental pickup to confirm the after hours return process.
AGE
Renters and additional drivers must be min 21yrs of age with a valid drivers license and major credit card in own name.
AIRPORT PICKUP

CANCELLATION
CANCELLATION We ask that you cancel your vehicle at least 48 hours in advance so we may have the vehicle available for another customer. If a credit card is required to reserve a vehicle there will be a cancellation or no show fee equal to 1 rental day if not cancelled 48 hours in advance.

Collision Damage Waiver is offered at time of rental pickup.
All cars - 12usd/day
Suvs and Vans - 25usd/day
Motorcycles - 35usd/day
DEPOSIT RULES
A deposit is held on the credit card at time of rental...
Cars - $500
Jeep Wrangler / 12 and 15 Pssgr Vans - $750
Motorcycles - $1000

This deposit will be used to pay the deductible excess in case of any damage to or theft of the rental car. U-save Aruba will put a hold on your credit card for the amount of the deposit. If there is no (new) damage to the car when you return it, the hold on your credit card will be released.
DRIVERS LICENSE
DRIVERS LICENSE
A valid drivers license is required to rent a vehicle.
For international residents, a valid drivers license issued from your country of residence must be presented at the time of rental. If the drivers license is in a language other than English it must be accompanied by an International Drivers Permit.
Drivers Licenses must be valid for the entire rental period.

GAS
GAS
All vehicles should be returned with the same amount of fuel which it was rented with. Should we need to refuel the vehicle it will be at the refueling fee listed on your rental agreement.

Reservations will be held for 3 hours beyond time of reservation.

INSURANCE
INSURANCE
Liability coverage (covers damage or injury to 3rd parties, not the rental vehicle) is provided for the vehicles as required by applicable law. In most instances, this will include coverage for the renter or authorized driver up to the minimum financial responsibility limits of the applicable jurisdiction at no additional charge. Liability coverage which is provided may be secondary to any other applicable coverage. This means the renters personal liability insurance is used first and the protection will not apply until the renter or drivers insurance, if any has been exhausted.

Generally this is as follows:
1) The lessor has the right too, terminates, this lease agreement at any time with immediate effect, and to take back the motor car wherever it may be. In case the customer has caused the foregoing because of his not complying at all or not properly with his obligation, the lessor shall not be obligated to make any refund or pay any indemnification to the customer.
2)Lessor shall not be responsible or liable for loss or damage to any property left, stored, or transported at any time by lessor at the request of or with the knowledge of customer or an other person in or upon vehicle either before or after the return thereof to lessor, whether or not said loss or damage was caused by or related to the negligence of lessor, its agents, servants, or employees. Customer hereby assumes all risk relating to the above incidents of loss or damage and waives all claims against lessor by reason thereof, and customer hereby agrees to hold lessor harmless from and to defend and indemnify lessor against all claims based upon or arising out of the loss or damage referred to herein.
3) With relevance to the present agreement Aruban Laws shall be applicable exclusively.

SMOKING
All Usave vehicles are NON-SMOKING vehicles. A $250 fee will be charged to customers that smoke in a Usave rental.
